Monterey Bay Aquarium

Ive been to this place twice in my life so far..once in the 6th grade..and then the second time as a planned sisterhood trip with my sorority sisters. I LOVE animals..and i simply adore sea animals..it was quite an experience..and i can’t wait to go again =). it may be tiring from walking exhibit to exhibit..but tired feet is sooo worth it to see these adorable animals!

I went here when I was a kid while visiting my uncle and aunt in California.

There’s a ray pool and they give you squid to feed to them. I turned around to talk to someone for a minute when one sucked up the side of the pool to try to get the squid from me. Scared the living hell out of me.

I highly recommend this place to anyone, It is educational and relaxing, If you are living within coast region I would purchase a membership, if you go there at least four times you would save money big time.

I have had a membership for five years and renew every year, I live locally and go all the time.

It is worth going and spending the day or even a weekend, most of the good local hotels have a good ticket package.

Beee-autiful place! Pricey aquarium….Well worth it

This is the first time I have been here and LOVED it! The Jellies were like something out of the movies. The Sunfish was the SCARIEST LOOKING THING I have EVER seen! It was all amazing!

It’s just beautiful! There’s so much to see there.

It was really neat going there, because so much of what you see in the tanks lives like 100 miles off the coast. It was amazing thinking all those sea creatures were right out there. It was great learning about the local ecosystem.

the Seattle Aquarium, but educational and fun if you can’t make it up to Seattle

The place is always overcrowded. Don’t even bother going to the touch tanks because most of the sea life is immune to human touch anyway.
I will say that the new add-on to the aquarium is cool because they have a giant sun fish.
