Can’t Wait!!!

Lived there for one year, great moments and great people.

It was our honeymoon and what nobody ever tells you is that most of the rooms in most resorts in the Carribean smell mildewy. It is gross. Apparently this is due to the high cost of electricity there. They regulate the A/C so it is on energy saver or off when you are out of the room. Anyway- beautiful beaches. NO shells at all. We got sick, even though we didn’t drink the water. And we were sick for over a week after we got home. But it was still a lovely place to visit, though I do not think we will go back.

I went to Punta Cana twice in 6 months. The first time with Dex and Andrew. Our first vacation! Then I went here with Tisha and Maria during our reading week…after I found out I was pregnant again! It’s a great place to go to relax…the beach is nice and locals are sweet. Since I’ve been here twice already, I wouldn’t go back just because I want to see the rest of the world.

The beach is beautiful, parts of it are finely ground up seashells that reflect pink in the sun, The people are fun and very welcoming and the airport, you have not been to a tropical place if you have not flown into punta canas airport, It is a open sided thatch roof hut, puts one in the mood the minute you step off the plane

Atlantis Events sometimes books the entire club for the party boyz. Fun is had by all. Look for Diomar (God of the Sea), my favorite GO.
