Did you know that? Bring a CD with your name on it (even if you’re just a backing musician) and they’ll waive the fee. My beau got in when we showed the staff his myspace page! Awesome!

The whole reason we went to Cleveland was because I was dying to see the museum. I was very disappointed. It wasn’t what I expected. Maybe I’m just not as into rock as I thought.
I was glad we made the trip though, because we found some other great places in Cleveland.
Visit the city, but skip the museum.

Should be way cooler than it is. You walk in thinking, “Whoohoo! I’m gonna see The Rock ‘n’ Roll Museum!” But you walk out thinking, “Was that it?!?” It’s not what I think the Rock Hall Museum should be. It’s to commercialized. A definite disappointment.

This was the first place I stopped while driving from Maryland to Washington. I saw Leadbelly’s guitar, Jimi Hendrix’s pants, Mick Jagger’s cape, and David Bowie’s jumpsuit. Any one of those things would have made it worth my time.

I am not a big museum fan, but a museum that is all about music is definately for me. It was by far the best museum i have ever been to. A replica model of “The Wall” from Pink Floyd is definately a highlight, as well as the room where you can listen to the 500 most influential songs of all time. I need to get every song on my iPod.
