Take it from a native – Billings is worth the trip

Worth visiting…if you are on your way somewhere else,
I’ve lived here a year now and my church (Harvest)is the only reason I’ve found to stay here, The people in the city are “northern” nice…It reminds me of Texas.

Lived in Billings for 17 years, many of my favorite people still live there and will never leave. Would not want to live there again, cold winters! Nice people, beautiful pristine mountains. Always felt it was an ugly town despite the surrounding country.

Big sky country is nice, but the state is largely unwashed and boring. _

seems like a nice town, pretty location, the rim-rocks overlooking town are pretty nice.

Billings is where I was born and raised. Nice place to visit, but I don’t live there anymore! :)

Fly into Billings, then take the drive through Red Lodge, over the Beartooth Highway, into Yellowstone Park through the Cooke City entrance. That is, once the Beartooth reopens!

Billings is a place where you can still walk the streets at night.

There was a one-way street the ended in a dead end that I ran across about 12 years ago in Billings. Does it still exist?

At the end of the road a bunch of locals sat in lawn chairs drinking beer- presumably waiting for lost tourists to drive down the road and then sit trying to figure out how to get out without breaking the law (we drove back out and broke the law)

Yeah..it’s where I was born, and I still live here, so of course I’ve been here! It’s not a bad place …

It’s a nice little town…was a cool place to visit but no reason to make a habit of it
