A tip I have about this place

This is a great piece of Architecture. I love buildings and this is a tick list for me. Very massive that you have to lie down on the ground so you could get a decent picture of both towers. To go up to the 42nd floor, you have to be early to get the tickets. My friend and I were there at 9am, but we managed to get the 3pm ticket.

A review of this place

it’s just an experience…nothing much about this tower. it’s not like you get to the tips of this building. but don’t miss out the experience…it’s like a piece of puzzle on your ‘experiece’.

The first time I went to this place

This is one reason that i encourage people to join the navy. In fact the traveling is the biggest reason i joined the navy. i had always dreamt of visiting different countries and now i have. Walking around kuala lumpur without any guide was actually fairly easy. not that i recommend doing this without a guide but the Petronas Towers are an awesome place to visit and a great place to shop.

Why I recommend this place to visitors

it definitely is massive and is an example of architecture and planning. but the interior is better. there is a huge shopping complex inside. so i loved it!!!

Why I want to go to this place

I like to see the great projects and beautiful structures, I watched an emission on television concerning this project and it really astonished me.

Petronas Twin Towers

The towers are awe-inspring and we were pleasantly surprised to find that our tour of the towers was free too! Their doors open at 7 am and they hand out 1500 free tickets for a tour of the towers and a visit to the 41st floor observation deck, which offers a breathtaking bird’s eye view of Kuala Lumpur. First come, first serve. It’s well worth the wait but go early because they’re usually out of tickets by 9:30am.

KLCC

The Petronas Towers are part of the KLCC (Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (Centre)), and it seems like everyone calls it that.

The base of the towers has a huge mall with a food court on one of the upper floors and restaurants on two of the upper floors. You can get tickets to the skybridge connecting the towers at the 42nd floor, but be sure to get there around 8:30 (or earlier?) in the morning to get tickets.

To get there, you can take a taxi. From within the “Golden Triangle” (which I hadn’t heard named before), the business district downtown, it should cost you 5 ringgit (~$1.33) or less to get there. I successfully bargined cab drivers to 5 starting from 10. Some cabbies do not bargin but use a meter, which may come to 2.50 or 3 depending on traffic and whatnot.
