A tip I have about this place

Stay at any of the places on Moonstone Beach Drive and you will not be disapointed. Go into the town and talk to the locals they are very friendly and full of crazy stories

A tip I have about this place

If you’re going to visit central California, make this place a part of your trip. Spend the night at one of the places on Moonstone Beach Drive and wake up to the peaceful sound of the waves crashing on the shore. Drive a few miles up to San Simeon to see Hearst Castle and then come back to Cambria to eat lunch at Linn’s. They have the most delicious pie I’ve ever eaten! I discovered the ollalaberry there- it is so delicious! I ended up buying olallaberry jam at the restaurant, it was just so good! Afterward, take Toute 46 to Paso Robles and enjoy the wineries along the way. You could spend days tasting wine in this area!

A review of this place: My Haven Getaway

I love Cambria and have some girlfriends to thank for exposing me to this Haven getaway. Its a small town, no fast food chains in site but wonderful wonderful restaraunts and places to eat, so much variety!

Quaint shops, lots of art, garden stores, its being at the beach yet the mountains both at the same time. Stay in a beach house rental and see deer walking in your yard.

The friday Farmers Market, the small Pewter Playhouse theatre, drive off on side roads and it feels like your in the country, drive 5 miles up and visit San Simeon and Hearst Castle…

Its a wonderful escape, hear the ocean, get away from the clutter of city life.

I cant wait to go again and I was just there!

Peace at last.

Cambria is such a beautiful place to reside in. There’s just something about it that makes you so relaxing and comforting. It’s not like those other over-populated cities like Los Angeles or New York. And you get to see all the pretty horses.

Greener than Ireland

I was there this spring and the hills were so green it looked like it had been raining for weeks. I had a great run along the beach.

love this quaint, little town. i try to go and visit every 6-8 weeks just to say hi to the ocean and the mountains and sit and drink coffee with the townfolk. if you’re there on a friday the farmer’s market is a blast.

Near San Simeon, just a few miles south on the Pacific Coast Highway stands the artist colony of Cambria, California. Pretty shops, local handicrafts, very quiet.
