Hate the Yankees…but Yankee Stadium is fun

fun if you’re a yankee fan. good food, even though it’s expensive. refreshing to go to a non-pittsburgh sports event where you can buy food that’s not named after ben roethlisberger

not sure i love sports maybe because it’s famous. baseball looks quite slow only seen it on tv in the states never had chance to go to a game so why not make it the yankee stadium for my first

It’s cool because of the history and everything…especially if you’re a yankees fan (I assume), but I’m a Cubs fan and I also like the Red Sox. I’ve been twice…my major problem with the park is with the grandstands….you feel like you’re going to fall onto the field…too annoying to actually watch the game….I think it’s prettier from the outside…that way, you don’t actually have to watch the yankees ;)

Well what can I say, Im a bronx girl. Gotta root for the hometeam! The games are electric and the atmosphere cant be beat! Im so sad they are going to tear it down and build a new stadium soon. Bad for the team and the neighborhood…what a shame :(

As a depressed die-hard Phillie fan….

I grew up thinking the real history of baseball were those guys in the pin stripe suits…even tho’ I am going to go down (with the Phils) as a Phillie fan.

So, I think it would be important to see Yankee Stadium for the history and ambience!

okay, i’m actually scheduled to go! my father & i are going to see the yankees play the orioles (his choice, but he paid) on august 15th! then we’re doing the official stadium tour the following afternoon. i know it’s pretty far off, but i’m super-excited!!!

There is no where in this wide and varied world that I like to be more than Yankee Stadium. It seems as if I’ve spent half of my life on 161st Street in the Bronx, living and breathing New York Yankees Baseball. Like Fenway Park and Wrigley Field, Yankee Stadium is a MUST for all baseballs fans. You never forget the first time you get a glimpse of that beautiful field. The atmosphere and history in this place is almost tangible. I saw my first game at the Stadium when I was six years old, and several years later, I’m getting ready to pursue a career in sports writing- that’s how much the Bronx Bombers mean to me and how much the team has inspired me. If you haven’t been, plan a trip to Yankee Stadium and experience a game before the new (and completely unnecessary) Stadium opens in 2009.

It’s only a matter of time before them move em, so visit the OG Yankee Stadium while you can.. it’s really great
