Awesome place, bustling and full of activity. Filled with nice restaurants & coffee shops, as well as kitschy stores, especially if you’re into the LGBT scene.

Check out Lambda Rising for a good LGBT bookstore & Dupont Market for tasty, original sandwiches & organic foods.

One of the best gay neighborhoods outside of San Francisco.

Good shopping! Don’t miss the little Polish Library.

People to watch, places to eat, things to do. I used to come here at least once a week in my younger days. Highly recommended!

Ah, my old neighborhood, so I’m a bit biased. If you visit, make sure you hit up Kramerbooks for late-night coffee or dessert. And if you’re looking for some wonderful pan-asian cuisine, go to Raku, right next door.

Dupont is where I would say some of the best restaurants and bars are in DC. But, you should learn the circle before you try to drive it. It can be very confusing. You’ve been warned.
