Union Square

Had an awesome time as we stayed at the Handlery hotel which is right there in the action!
Did some great shopping and everyone was so nice and helpful.I had the best cup of coffee from one of the pubs, in a beer cup – so not like me, but it was yummy as the barman topped it with fresh cream! (this was at 10 am)

I became a camera whore once all the Christmas lights were on. Every Christmas, they have this gigantic tree as big as a building, filled with big shiny balls, and bright lights. But the tree inside the department store Neiman Marcus is way bigger. Almost every other week, we take a public transportation JUST to hang out around there. You’ll see a couple of pigeons hanging around, but they don’t bother. Union Square has such big space, they take hold tons of events. I remember seeing an art show there once, pretty sweet.

There’s shopping, traffic, and homeless people. During Christmas there is shopping, traffic, homeless people, and a Christmas tree.

Good if you are into that sort of thing.

6 floors above it, watched people travel through it and then walked through it during a sultry evening with drunken friends.

this is where all da real shopping is going on

... they decided to use so much concrete in the recent re-make of Union Square. Also, it’s a bit overly commercial for my tastes. But it’s one of the main spots of my favorite city, so I have to give it a Worth visiting!
