Greenwich Village

this place is sooo cool. this was probably my favorite part of nyc. its near to NYU, and everyone was so trendy and full of energy. We walked through washington square park and it was just a neat place to be. I really enjoyed this area and the zig zag streets. very laid back, not the hustle and bustle of manhattan. the little shops, bars, and cafes with younger crowds are nice. Dont miss it!

there is a crazy man that is always dancing shirtless to his own music everytime I visit. I love New York.

I lost a blue all-weather coat that I bought from a thrift store but looked very expensive. Still, the loss doesn’t diminish my love for this neighborhood. I wish I could carry the energy of this place wherever I went.

Greenwich Village was the stomping grounds of my youth. When I was an early teen I used to travel there by subway so I could be amongst my kind. When I was really little I had heard about it from my father who said it was the place of the Village Voice and all the gays. Hehehehe….

There are so many incredible things to see and do there and the vibe is energizing. If you only visit one neighborhood when you’re in NYC this should be it.

i have noticed that there are alot of tourist tho.

the east village is probably my favorite part of new york. i have friends at nyu, so i visit often. great people watching.

This place has great atmosphere, love all the little bars and restaurants with character.

Saw a great movie here (CSA) then my friend stepped on a rat right near NYU. I am still thinking of doing a masters at NYU though, even though the rat was a BIG MOMMA rat!

I can’t even explain what it’s like to be there.
My lungs felt in a state of rapture…it was like I was finally breathing the air I was meant to.
