Crescent City aka: Cresant City

Spent a night in Crescent City a few years back camping on the beach, and loved it. Gorgeous and plenty to do if you love the outdoors.

we were driving from grants pass to crescent city and almost ran out of gas. a mobil station saved our life. The redwoods were fantastic as always) and crescent city is a great place to start your drive up the OR coast or down the CA coast.

The first time I went to Crescent City was on a long road trip from Orange County to Sacramento to Shasta, through Grants Pass and all the way down the California Coast. I stayed at the Hampton Inn and it was outstanding!

yeah, i guess you could say I move alot…ho hum… well anyhoo, this place is OK- i enjoyed my friends and we all loved to go on hikes in the forest- Did you know that parts of Star Wars were filmed up there in the Redwoods??

My family rents a beach house over there a week out of the year. It’s an awsome place for a nice get away.

I went to Crescent City this past weekend with my wife. We stayed at the new Hampton Inn there, and it sits just about ten yards off the beach. When the tide goes out, there are a ton of tidepools just past the gravel beach, and I had a lot of fun wandering around looking at all the little creatures out there. We also bought some live crabs from the dock and brought them back home to cook. I’m sure we’ll be heading back there again later this year, and we may even have a new favorite motel on the coast!

I Love Crescent City so much, I live in this town, man!

We lived in Crescent City for 3 years. Nice place to visit.
However I would never move back. The people that live in Crescent city are mostly on welfare and have no way out. The job market is dead and the hospital is ready to close down and the biggest store there is Walmart. I like the scenery but the people are assbackwards oops.

I grew up here. You have to look past the funkiness of the actual town and savor all of the incredible beauty in the surrounding countryside.
