Key West aka: Conch Republic

Make sure to try out a little place called Two Friends Patio Restaurant. Our food was perfect and very reasonable oh yeah try the crab cake burger. They are located near in historic Key West near the seaport

I rode my bike from Central Florida to Key West in 5 days and spent Christmas Eve and Morning there with my husband. Other than not having the family around it was probably the best Christmas I’ve ever had.

This trip happened because of a cruise trip gone bad. I think we had a much better time here than being stuck on a ship for a couple of days. We also went at a slow time so we got very good rates on hotels and other things. It was in September. Great trip.

by far the best beach town in the US! make sure to take the drive on the 7 mile bridge at some point…amazing view!

I have a job there, and it’s difficult to commute from Atlanta. Plus, it’s warmer right now ;-)

I went here with a couple other people. We spent…one night? I think. Well it definitely could’ve been a better trip if things weren’t so messed up. I wasn’t getting along with one of the people with us, and it definitely ruined the key west experience. I didn’t even get to go to the damn beach..I mean, who doesn’t see the beach when they GO TO KEY WEST?! I went on this ghost tour, and it was actually pretty awesome. IT is true though…it’s probably more enjoyable if you’re 21, being that people drink a lot there.

Key West is so far south, it’s almost like cuba. I couldn’t even see a McDonalds anywhere…!!! was I still in the states? hahaha Key west is a great place… and a beautiful drive from Miami.
