University Of Rochester

I was an undergrad at the U of R and they were 4 of the best years of my life. I made great friends and developed a bond with people that still endures today.
Being away at school taught me how to take care of myself, how to interact with people from backgrounds very different than mine, and it taught me how to think for myself, how to form an opinion and defend it.
It’s been 10 years and sometime it feels like it was just yesterday….sometimes I really miss it.

Went in Dec 2004. Stayed in a frat house, ate a garbage plate and had a great time.

I’m 3/4 of the way done with my undergraduate studies here, and these last three years have been great. The campus is small and nice, the people (for the most part) are great, and the academics are definitely good. I applied here early decision and I don’t regret it. There are opportunities to become involved in so many different groups and activities on campus as well as in the city itself (although many UR students don’t seem to realize there is actually a city outside of the campus). I don’t know if I’d really say that this place changed my life, but it definitely fit neatly into the path I was on and helped me continue on my way. The class of ‘06 just graduated yesterday, which means I’m now a senior, but I’m not sure I’m ready for my last year! I could definitely be happy here for quite awhile.

I haven’t been a student here, but the campus is beautiful, the students are intelligent and nice, the faculty helpful.

I had a great time there, met a lot of people and learned a little bit.

Great undergrad education.
