Armação dos Búzios aka: Buzios

I love this place! It is so beautiful. I want to retire here, if I could, I would be the happiest guy in the world!

I’m living in Buzios for three months, one month is up, and I absolutely love it.

Buzios was awesome. We packed 3 families into one house on the beach. Gary and I, Jeanne and Steve and their kids Nicki and Stevie, Patricia and Luis, and Luisa, Maria and little Antonio. We went to several different beaches, and got sun, ate good food, and basically had fun.
The downtown area of Buzios is great, tons of bars, resturantes, and stores, with streets closed to car traffic so you can walk around, great for people watching.

I am planning a trip to Brazil because my wife and I want to look into vacation houses and I was hoping someone could give me some personal experiences. I am looking for a fun surf/beach town with a relaxed vibe. I have been looking at Buzios and it looks and sounds great but, if anyone has any info about here or maybe you can direct to another town. Thanks

BEUTIFUL PEOPLE, FOOD, NICHTS, WEATHER, BEACHES… I WILL COME BACK NEXT YEAR!!... GO TO BUZIOS!

The beaches are beautiful but not as much as Arraial do Cabo. But definitely worth the visit. And in the evening, you can’t miss Rua das Pedras, full of restaurants, bars and small tents with drinks. Try the ‘Capeta’ :P

Relaxing with really warm people. Its on a peninsula with some 23 beaches, the scuba diving is great. Get yourself a bugyy, rickety little machines made from old Volswagons. Good food and dont forget to drink caipirinhas!
