Temple Square

I noticed all the girls wearing long skirts and thick black shoes. Very…interesting, to say the least.

I’m not Mormon, but the place is beautiful and the people are kind. A major tourist spot, but I wouldn’t travel here on purpose. I was on a business trip and figured I’m in SLC, might as well poke around the Square.

A beautiful, peaceful place, located in the heart of the city. Definitely worth seeing if you’re in town.

The crowning jewel of Utah. If you visit Utah, you MUST visit Temple Square. It is very beautiful especially in the spring and at Christmastime. Take the free tour. The tour guides are kind and informative and very passionate about what they’re showing you. I would definitely suggest trying to see a performance by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

My husband and our daughters went to Utah. I wasn’t impressed with salt lake city but I was impressed with temple square. I had studied Mormonism recently and was curious. Anyway, there was a tour group being shown thru the temple. I didn’t realize it until I had already seen half of it. I was alone. Why? My family all came down with food poisoning and I didn’t. That never has happened since. Now I”M the one who gets it. Anyway, it was a huge place where you would go room to room, push a button and sit down and voices would talk about the scene behind the glass about the Mormon pioneers. After an hour or so, my family came dragging up to me, poor things, and we left.
It was something I’m glad I did but it wasn’t a trip I’d call memorable.

This place has a really neat feeling. Go to temple square!

Beautiful gardens and fountains. The Tabernacle was under construction while we were there, so we didn’t get to see it, but the conference center is huge and surprisingly interesting…do not miss the rooftop garden!!!
Also, brides EVERYWHERE.

It was very interesting. I can’t imagine myself going there again, but it was definitely interesting. If you go there it worthwhile to take the free tour.

Temple Square is a place of many feelings. You feel happy and amazed every time you go there, among other feelings. It is a good place to go with the family or with your friends on a nice afternoon. Try visiting it at Christmas time…the lights are amazing and the Tabernacle Choir sings beautiful songs.

The tour was good. The choir was great. The feeling was excellent. Also had lunch in the Beehive house and enjoyed it. The dinner in the Joseph Smith building with Dallin H. Oaks was one of those memories of a lifetime. Try to see the filming of “Music and the Spoken Word” on a Sunday morning.
