The Bronx

I want to go here this is where my best friend and twin sister (who I have never met) lives! She is the sweetest ever and I love her. No matter how many miles between us we will always be best friends…

well ive been here many times .. more like 2 or 3..last i remember was seeing the monkeys lol the monkeys i cant forget them …they stinked pretty bad more like the deepest shyt i had ever smell b4 but other than that this is a beautiful place to visit there are all these intersting animals you just cant believe are alive.. i want to go sometime again knowing that i got a while without going.

I met my girlfriend in college this year and we both decided that before we went home for the summer we would take each other to our hometowns for a weekend! Well, I went to the Bronx, NY on April 13th and it was totally not what I expected. I thought that it was going to at least slightly live up to it’s reputation but it didn’t! Just like any other place there is a good side and a bad side! You just don’t want to go to the bad side. But Christina’s neighborhood was beautiful. I’d like to go back so I can see where she works next: The Bronx Zoo. :)

I was in the Bronx once in the middle of the night. When asking for directions, people ran away from me. No one trusts nerdy tourists there. I felt like I was in a Dirty Harry movie… Wild and awesome.

I love the Bronx! i’ve lived there my whole life until i moved 3 yrs. ago but i still visit to see my friends all the time. people always have this false image of what the bronx is like but the truth is its an amazing place with diverse people (and the best food!!) and i’m proud to call it my home.

It’s not as bad as people say it is! Don’t believe the hype!

The Bronx has the largest park in the City. Take the 6 train all the way up to Pelham Bay Park and cross the street to (you guessed it) Pelham Bay Park. There’s a huge park, a track, a playground, tennis courts, baseball fields, and Orchard Beach right nearby.

Don’t worry- you probably won’t get shot ;)

If you head over to the otherside of the Bronx, there’s also Van Cortlandt Park which is huge, but I can’t attest to much more than that.

Still go back there regularly to see a certain baseball team.

Well its not the prettiest place in the world but it is home to many interesting people from all over the world. I am not into sports but we still house the Yankees and the beautiful Botanical Gardens and Zoo. There are many things to see if you just look farther than you usually do.
