A place I can't wait to revisit
I absolutely loved this place. It’s been 14 years since I was there, let it not be 14 more until I’m back!

Great city with its skinny coblestone streets that are still driveable. Its great old forts still fully in tact. Friendly area a bit crowed make sure you see the restof the island too. Great safe way to see the carabean culture. Lived just 2000 feet south in San Turce for 10 months next to where cruise ships dock.

I didn’t have much of a chance to explore, as I was on a cruise and it was probably one of the few days it rained all day in Puerto Rico, but I loved it—thunderstorms and all. I would definitely love to visit and stay there for a longer period of time. Our driver and the store employees were all so friendly. We visted a few stores and spent awhile at the fort.
I highly reccomend visiting :)

San Juan is really beautiful! When you walk though the steets you get the feeling of beeing in an old small pirate’s town sometimes durin the 17th or 18th century.
The only things that are missing in San Juan are the old sailig ships.

Historic San Juan, once nothing more than cobblestone streets and the distinctive architecture of the Spanish who founded it, is now a modern world capital. Among the peaceful shaded courtyards and commanding colonial fortresses of El Morro and San Cristobal, you’ll find a cosmopolitan city of wide boulevards, lively cafes, highly regarded galleries and designer boutiques. This is where the old world meets the new – and you can enjoy them both.

this place has just the most cozy atmosphere i could imagine, and the combination of the city streets with the ocean breeze is something you have to experience to understand. I had fun sitting in a BUS STATION here! :)
