Columbia River Gorge

Boy it was cold last February, but that didn’t disuade all the hikers and photographers from coming out in force. Porlanders are pretty rugged individuals. I think this was Wahkeena Falls.

I lived in the Gorge for 8 years. It’s a beautiful place! The River will always hold a special place in my heart.

I have lived here for the past two years

I used to live on the Columbia River!

If you windsurf or you have a special draw to the rugged cliff lifestyle, then the Gorge is for you. If not, then it’s a lot of cold water surrounded by rocks.

The george is one of the most beautiful sites in the world to me and I really take for granted the fact that I live about 10 minutes from it. Most people don’t have stuff like this in their backyard.

This is a great road or day trip to drive down the Gorge. It may take more time if you like to hike. This is the best place to hike that I have been. There are numerous places to hike here!

I never knew that part of the country was so beautiful. It’s totally worth a visit.

Simply beautiful…. I first saw this area when my sister got married there. The memories will stay with me forever.

The Columbia Gorge can be a beautiful place, the sunsets and rises and the rain coming off the fields. Some of the natural features are breathtaking but you have to look for them. Most of the tourist attractions aren’t that worth it, but find a local and ask for some real hidden beauty and you will find breath taking places.
