Giant's Causeway, County Antrim

Took my Spanish in-laws to see it,my mother-in-law spent the whole time collecting shell fish.
Doc Johnson was probably right back then now worth seeing and going to see,if you lke landscape.

It´s beautiful! and we have a windy nice day so, it was amazing!
over 5 years agoIt is a very peculiar place, surreal, but don’t expect to make a day out of it. Also, unless you go in good weather, one look is enough, as it is very exposed.
over 5 years agoWear comfy shoes! There’s a lot of walking to do!
over 5 years agoand ended up staying an entire day. Even though there were other people crawling around the place, it’s still surprisingly peaceful. Sitting there in awe of these rare formations is one of my fondest memories of Ireland (and there seem like there a millions of memories for that trip).
over 5 years agoahhh family roots…i have relatives in Cork. I can’t wait to go someday..
over 6 years agosheep and stones and pubs, what else could you want?
over 6 years agoVery cool. Check it out if you make it up to Northern Ireland.
over 6 years agoGive yourself plenty of time! There is a bus (for a fee) that takes you down the hill but after that, you’ll be hoofin’ it. The shops and lunchroom are extremely crowded so I wouldn’t recommend you spend much time there. There’s an informative film that will acquaint you with the area; it’s worth the cost. In any case, I would pack a lunch and make a day of visiting this beautiful place! Wear comfy shoes and have a wonderful visit. :)
