Stonehenge

Awesome place !!!

Couldn’t get anywhere near the exhibit. Didn’t expect that I would get to touch them, but didn’t expect a huge fence perimeter all around the huge plain either!
Didn’t think there was anything amazing about it. Sunset and all. I’ve been happier visiting places on the West Wales coast. Guess I’m spoilt living here!

It was amazing to visit, though it was disappointing that you couldn’t actually go inside the circle. The audio tape was strange though, I’m sure it mentioned something about a Tardis…
I’d love to go at night, as it would probably feel more magical.

no fence, no restrictions, just these big blocks of stone in the midst of flat empty land. Eerie, weird, and haunted. (This was in the 1970’s.)

I’m not sorry I went, but I’m sure that the fencing, etc. around it now would make me cry (or want to).

Apparently, there were many “New Age” people wanting to be near the area on that day. It is very interesting, and I’m told that the best time to go is during a storm. I guess it makes it seem more eerie??

Tons of tourits steal the magic slience of this place. So there is no mystery left.

It just seems like such a magical and mystical place. I’ve dreamed of visiting it since I was a little girl.

And that about sums it all up!!!!!! You need to go there to feel it for yourself. But you need to take the tour that gets you inside the ropes by the rocks themselves!!!!! The mystical feeling you get is very strong the closer you get to the rocks.

I can only imagine the energy to be felt in this mystical place. For me visiting such historic sites and imagining the people that lived when it was created is exciting and spiritual.
