Corfu

when I was 5. I actually had my 5th birthday there. So me is was a really amazing holiday. Since I was only five, there’s not much for me to remember. I do remember the people being incredibly nice and welcoming, and also the ridiculously large dragonflies D:

Absolutely loved Corfu despite the fact that I spent it just outside the hell hole section where all the clubbers go.

For a quiet holiday, friendly locals, brilliant weather.

Visit Achilleon – the amazing mansion of queen Elizabeth of Hungary…! It’s well worth the visit!

Should be going in August, can’t wait to be on the beaches and swim finally! Haven’t been swimming for more than a year!

From the moment we landed at Corfu airport, I felt as though I had been here before. I remember the intoxicating aromas of herbs as we drove along the mountain roads to my parents home on the north side of this wonderful island.
We absolutely fell in love with Corfu and it was quite a wrench to leave. Consequently, we would very much love to make further plans to re-visit captivating Corfu.

Went here on deployment in the Navy and the KKE protested us being there. KKE is a radical political group and they had signs like “Go home yankees”. I just stayed away from them and visited the city. I had fun and got drunk a bunch of times.

I have been on holiday to Corfu twice with my family. It is a lovely area, and lots of pretty areas. It is very nice to have a quiet and relaxing holiday here, but there is not much in the way of entertainment or night life, and the types day trips are rather limited. I wouldn’t go back again, but I did enjoy my time there.
