U.S. Virgin Islands aka: VI, V.I.

My parents went on their honeymoon here and have always wanted to go back. Twenty years and three kids later, they brought me and my brother and sister here and it was amazing. There is so much local color here, the beaches are amazing and everything is so relaxed. I stayed on St. John’s Island, but I also spent some time on St. Thomas, both were great but I recommend St. John!

born and raised not the most tropical of the caribbean islands but still worth visiting

Aside from that, the waters are beautiful and the snorkling superb. Stay at Maho Bay camps in St. John if you want a more “eco-friendly” vacation (just be sure to bring your bugspray).

My aunt and uncle lived here for ten years. They lived on St. John, but my uncle took the ferry to St. Thomas everyday for work. It is soo beautiful there! My first “real photographs” that inspired me to pursue photography were taken here. Granted, this was about six [or more] years ago, when digital cameras weren’t around, so I don’t have any of the pictures on my computer. It’s truly beautiful though, and I definitely recommend it.

went through the virgin islands via a cruise ship. every island was different but i really enjoyed st. thomas. amazing beaches!the only portion of the trip that i did not care for was the commonly seen trash and roadside litter.

I’ve been to USVI a few times and I always stay on St. John though I’ve been to the others. It’s a beautiful place with friendly people and lots of sun. The best place for a burger is Skinny Legs in Coral Bay. Spend the mornings at the beach and head to Cruz Bay for shopping and drinks in the afternoon.

The water is beautiful. St. Thomas is crowded with tourists from cruise ships during the day at the shopping district by the harbor, but St. John is equally gorgeous and almost remote.

absolutely worth visiting!

I dont remember it much because I was like 6…and i got sick as a dog there.
