but that’s okay. It was beautiful in the weirdest way. I went on a 7 1/2 hour off road adventure in an open-top Jeep and it was amazing. I never imagined Aruba to be so rugged. The ocean was rough and the sands rockier than sandy. If you get the opportunity, go on the off-road adventure and visit the fort along the way and also try and see all of the natural bridges.

I was lucky to get a great deal the first time I went to Aruba. Flew down on Aruba Air (all business class) with a friend, rented a jeep at the airport and stayed in Palm Beach. Definitely rent a jeep and “explore”. The roads can be rough on the back side of the island, but it is an adventure. Make sure to visit “baby beach” as well. One tip for Palm Beach at night…there are sand crabs, so beware if you sit down!

I finally went! Now Aruba is not cheap. Everything cool to do is expensive. Eating out is expensive, buying groceries at the supermarket is less expensive but definitely more pricey than home. One thing I did to enable us (my brother went too) to do some fun things was to go on timehsare presentations. We got to go out to 2 great restaurants and go snorkelling as a result. If I were to return to Aruba, I would either come with a lot more money or go with people who don’t mind hanging on the beach every day.

They have great horse back riding places there, fun, galloping along the white beaches, with the water there, it’s sooo cool. They shopping is the best of the islands because it’s the biggest tourist spot. Very busy though, and a bit on the warm side. But cool.

you go sailing with darwin everyday all day. he is the captain of a sail boat. and he’s missing one thumb.

It’s nice here but WAY too Western and expensive. You can check out sites such as Wendy’s Taco Bell and Domino’s Pizza.

Beautiful beaches though all over the place!

when i get married i want to go here for my honeymoon. i think its a beautiful island!
