I want to see the Rangers play here. I actually had tickets to a Rangers game once- a long time ago when I was visiting. But my visit got cut short and I ended up giving the tickets to the cabbie who drove me to the airport.

Actually I’ve only been here once, it is an amazing venue, I went there for an Oasis concert; this was the main reason I even flew to NYC from Arizona on my way back to Costa Rica.
I loved it… I got the chance to share this with me friend Daniel the dude in the pic who flew there from Costa Rica… amazing… really! u have to go there and experience it yourself.

Its great to catch a basketball game here, and join in on all the crowd chants! Brilliant, so unlike the football chants I am used to in England!

the crowed booed the kid who dropped the ball doing a dunk at half time.
They charged me $4.50 for a diet coke.
But hey, other than that I had a great time, and I can’t wait to go back to watch the knicks lose again :P

We haven’t seen a New York Rangers home game yet, but we did take the building tour earlier this week. It’s a neat building, and the tour is quite informative.

But, they do have good performers. I went and saw U2 there because my co-worker had an extra ticket and I felt very lucky!

I’ve taken in a few concerts at MSG now and I’m not the biggest fan – every seat seems so far away – but it’s so well known that I’d have to suggest you hit it once!

My uncle took me along with his son to the Garden to see the Knicks play the (then) New Orleans Jazz. I was far too little to know who the players were- I remember Bill Cartwright, and I imagine Pistol Pete Maravich played. I do know that it was the year after Bill Bradley retired from hoops to run for the Senate (still my Senator).
The place was dead- it was about half empty. This was before the Knick City Dancers, big video screens, hip-hop during time outs, or one-handed-windmill-reverse-360-dunks. All they had was an organist.
The organist played “charge.” No one in the crowd took the bait. Some time later, he played charge again. No response. The third time or so, I shouted “CHARGE” with mll my being, prompting some giggles around the cheap seats.
He played it again- more people shouted charge. Again- still more people.
By the end of the night, the entire house was shouting everytime the organist played it. The Knicks won.
