Last time I went there, I made a little YouTube jogging video. I had a the opportunity to point out the unusual word on the plaque … allegedly but it was early, and I was not sure how to take it.

When I went here years ago, I found it really interesting! However, that movie with Kevin Costner had recently come out, so I thought I might get some insight into the conspiracy theory here. Nope, not really; at least not back then. Still, it was a fascinating place to visit.

it was rather creepy looking out the same window JFK was shot from, but definitely a neat experience

There’s a really nice and green area. The roads in the immediate area are massively confusing. It’s a nice place to go see if nothing else.

There’s a museum there devoted to the day Kennedy was shot. There are exhibits that discuss conspiracy theories, a timeline detailing what happened that day, and many other things relating to it. It was very moving. i found myself in tears afterward.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but this struck me as a great museum, with enough period detail to give you the feel of the historic event and enough background information (with videos, photos, and facsimiles of original documents) to teach you more about it. JFK’s presidency, his visit to Dallas, and the different theories about his assassination are covered in a very evenhanded way.

Excellent museum.
