Third Street Promenade

If you want to eat around there, try to avoid going on Friday or Saturday nights,because restaurants there get really crowded during those times.

It’s one of the main attractions for everyone in Santa Monica. There’s three blocks leading up to the Santa Monica Place (our mall.) The blocks are full of all types of different shops. Movie theaters, apple store, all types of food places, sephora, you name it! It’s a very fun tourist attraction, but I don’t recommend going on a friday night, unless your okay with the promanade being FULL of teenagers. But otherwise, come on down, and ENJOY. Ive lived here for 13 years and every week I go to the promanade. It’s an amazing place to be, and to shop in!! If your ever in Santa Monica, go to the promanade!

Check out street performers, watch out for awesome sales…I love this shop called Zara for clothes.

super yummy chinese and other foods, cheap too. at least where we ate. i like that i can bring my dog. really great bookstore there, just wandered in and got lost for a long time. all art books and such.

nice area to walk your dog near the beach.

with the gorgeous weather in santa monica, what better way to spend the day than strolling up and down the promenade and checking out the neat stores and boutiques. theres also buskers playing music etc, was such a happy atmosphere. i liked it a lot.

They have great food, wine, desserts, and the best service (everyone’s in the biz). The staff treated us like family. It’s definitely a place to go!

Don’t jay walk. I nearly got myself a ticket crossing on a red walk sign. There were no cars coming, no danger to me or T. But it was that cops duty to inform me I should have gotten a jaywalking ticket. F that. If I’m walking in a cross walk, I’ve looked both ways, no cars are coming, you are going to give me a ticket? That is crazy. Some people are under appreciated at home.

Being from the East Coast and living in DC now, I don’t see many street performers. I’ve seen some in NYC though. There are a few cool stores on the Promenade, the Hear Music store is cool, and some restaurants on the Promenade are alright. I didn’t like the Sushi place that much though. I can’t remember what it’s called though.

eh, the Promenade is all right… but if you walk down to Wilshire there’s a fantastic bookstore called Hennessey + Ingalls. It’s all art, architecture, design, etc but it’s very good.
