Bora Bora

I would go back to Bora Bora any day. I’ve been to a lot of great places around the world, but this place really tops it off. I wish I would’ve savored the moment more. It’s heavenly.

I want to go there with my husband. Stay in an overwater bungalow either in Bora Bora Nui Hotel or St. Regis. The price looks a bit steep for us now, but one day when it’s within our reach, we will go there to enjoy what Tahiti has to offer. : )

You owe it to yourself to go there and sleep in a little grass hut and lay in a hammock all day long eating coconuts falling from the trees above. But take loads of money because a coke was $2.50!

La Meridien Resort – doesn’t it look fabulous?

This island has losts a lot of their culture…its the only island where people seem to ask for tips; where as the other islands find tipping offensive because they always provide good service. There were too many children, it was too loud, and they barely spoke french. Bora Bora was the last island I visited on my travels in French Polynesia and it left me with a bad taste in my mouth. It was rather disappointing compared to Moorea and Huahine.

The first time I saw a picture of this place I couldn’t beleive it was actually real.
Wow, since then, I saved millions of photos of this place in my computer and I keep imagining what it would feel like to be in contact with such beautiful sight. Bright bright ocean and sand… it looks like paradise!
I heard that, in some decades, the french polynesia islands won’t exist anymore because of the global warming, and consequently, the level of the water will get higher. So sad to think humans are capabable of destroying the few spots world could seem like heaven. Where is this world leading to?

Many years ago made a bet with my best friend. I won. Will be going to Bora Bora some time :o)

Once i get marry. I will definately pick this place for my honeymoon.!!!!!!!!!!
