Spartanburg

I moved to Spartanburg when I was fourteen and hated it.

But, it grew on me and now that I’m gone I miss the dumb little place.

There’s a good number of delicious and inexpensive eateries, a nice park to hang out in and a general feeling of home.

The one in my heart lives here. There are many places here I wish to find. to see all the places where she has set her foot upon. To see what she see, be at the very places of her presence or the landscapes she once walked. to see the landscape of her life. to be mystify by her scent and wonder the thoughs of her soul.

I wasted 7 years of my life living here. It made me appreciate Michigan that much more when we finally moved.

Mostly. I grew up in a small town in Spartanburg. It’s nothing spectacular, but I love my home and all the people I grew up knowing there. The city of Spartanburg is…OK. I lived out in the country.

What more could you ask for, close to Columbia, Charlotte, Atlanta. Temperate climate and GREEN!!

I only went for a conference so I didn’t see much of the town. What I did see just looked very ‘industrial’ – except for the downtown area where my hotel was. Downtown seemed very nice but small. People were very nice.
