Cape Hatteras

I live in Virginia Beach so Hatteras is about 2 hours from where I live. My boyfriend and I go there all the time to surf and I love it. We always find spots on the beach where we’re the only ones and we can just relax. It’s my favorite place to go.

Cape Hatteras is simply amazing! Great beah, very relaxing. One of the nicest spots along the Outer Banks to vacation. Some of the nicest and most comfortable beach houses you can get.

Lots of fun….but I can’t recommend anywhere to go since I haven’t been there since Isabel (hurricane) rearranged the place. Frisco was always a nice place to stay at.

The view the top of the lighthouse provides is great! This area is rich in history and a wonderful place to visit.

I remember camping here as a kid – It was my first big adventure and the first vacation I enjoyed – I think because it was the first one we traveled on with another family… :>

I went here about 8 years ago, when they were moving the lighthouse! I would love to go back to see it.

One of these days, I’ll go back to Hatteras.

When I was little, my family went camping with our neighbors in Cape Hatteras. I remember crabbing… wild ponies… sunsets… lots of mosquitos… lots of smiles and laughter too. I’d love to go back, now that I’m older, and get a real relaxing vacation!

i spent a week surfing here and it was so much fun. the waves are great.

This was the trip that got me interested in Light Houses and would like to visit as many as possible.
