Wrigley Field

While this wasn’t initially on my “to do” list visiting Chicago, I was taken here and I am thrilled I did. It was awesome seeing such a peice of american history.

GO CUBS GO!

and going to Wrigley Field this month really made me like and appreciate the game even more. I’ve been to some other stadiums and they don’t do anything compared to this field. The atmosphere was amazing – so genuine it isn’t even funny. The other thing that was great about this game was it was a double header, they were playing the Cardinals (a big rivalry) and the weather was PERFECT. I really enjoyed our game and I really loved the field. I still can’t get over how there isn’t advertising of the type of scale I’m accustomed to in Southern California and there is a fantastic view. It was a full house, the fans were crazy and I’ve never seen so many people wear so much team gear or team colors. Also, everyone was nice to each other even if there was a rival game going on – on the train home cardinal fans weren’t rubbing it in the cubs fans’ faces that their team had won. AMAZING!

It is the most unique ball park I have been to.

Tip- Hydrate it can get warm

this ballpark is simply magical. there is nothing like sitting in the bleachers with a beer in your hand cheering on the cubbies.

this is their year. it’s gonna happen.

An awesome ballpark!! Not as amazing as Fenway, but I’m probably a bit bias since I’m a Red Sox. Anyone who has a chance should catch a game!

My Cubs tickets came in the mail this morning! YAY

As Yankee fans know, switching teams is frowned upon but experiencing a ballgame at Wrigley Field changed my loyalty. This city knows what a stadium is supposed to look, feel, and smell like. Plus, the fans were really cool. Chicago by far is an intelligent City. Earth friendly and people friendly.
