The first time I went to this place

Such a beautiful place so close to home!

We vistited the Tate gallery, and spent lots of time on the beach. It was GREAT!

We then did an art project on St Ives. :)

I’d love to go again!! :)

How this place changed my life

it’s just an amazing place. It was sunny the whole time when i went, not one day of rain! The people you meet there are friends worth keeping, amazing people. It’s such a lovely community. Me and my sister started a fire on the beach one night, and its like moths to a flame, soon enough there were 20 or so people around the fire just talking and having a really good time…some of them didn’t evenn live in st ives.

seriously there is so much to do and see in that little place.
ive made friends for life.

The last time I went to this place

St Ives is magical! Even on a wet, windy day it is a treat. Go to the Tate and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and eat fish and chips on the beach, bliss.

Untitled

one of my favourite places in the UK, just so, so beautiful and all the memories i have here are fantastic. good beachs (for england anyway!), touristy yet definatly not as bad as some places are, pretty and quaint. been there many times and although it’s too small to ever want to live in as used to a large city, i’ll be going back many, many times.

..only 2 days, but that still counts!

The Barbara Hepworth sculpture garden was AMAZING, and I also enjoyed the Tate, and sitting on the beach in the sunshine, and the Porthminster Beach Cafe right on the beach with delicious red mullet and a dark chocolate brulee to finish, and Russetts which had lovely mussels, and really Cornish cream ice-cream, and the sea! It’s so turquoise!

With 326 miles of dramatically contorted coastline (well over 100 of them protected as the ruggedly scenic Coastal Path, a must-hike choice for international trekkers), Cornwall also offers peaceful villages and deserted headlands.
