Cliffs Of Moher aka: Aillte an Mhothair

i was in absolute awe of how amazing it is.
the sun setting, the sea crashing beneath, the seagulls soaring around. just wonderful:)

I was a bit disappointed with the size of the cliffs, so if you hear a lot about how big they are don’t think they are going to be like the Himalayas ;) Still it was nice to see the land meeting ocean anyway. One more thing – you are most likely to hear only Polish language among tourists there ;) Lots of Poles and alnost no Irish. If you can, go there during the week as on weekends it’s really crowded.

On a school trip, probably about 13/14, so was not over impressed, but I’m sure I would appreciate it more today. Very wild scenery, and on a good day, awe inspiring.

This was one of my favorite places in Ireland. The view is really breathtaking, and it seems to go on forever.

I’m looking back at my photos and really wished I could have spent a little more time just taking it all in. I plan on revisiting the cliffs at some point.

The most amazing story of fate and destiny occured for me at the Cliffs of Moher.. life changing. The Cliffs are incredible, truly breathtaking… as is Ireland, especially the West Coast of Ireland. A definite must see! x

I went here when I was 14 years old, and found it quite simply the most breathtaking view I had ever (and will ever most likely) seen. It’s absolutely beautiful! And yep, I did the whole crawling on my belly thing as well. It was quite fun :D

Shortly after my divorce, I traveled to Ireland with the intention of not returning. As I stood at my “pre determined spot”, I was overwhelmed by the vast beauty in which I was surrounded. I chose to move forward and to channel all of my energies in a positive creative direction. It hasn’t been easy and I am not quite where I’d like to be yet but I AM HERE.

And yes I crawled out on my belly (never mind the gaggle of german girls who just walked right up and were kicking their legs out over the edge- i guess they were honoring their compatriots’ bones on the rocks below) and peaked over the edge against the protests of my (now) husband. I told him I didn’t fly all the way across the ocean to NOT look over the edge of the cliffs. Really spectacular.
