V&A South Kensington aka: The Victoria & Albert Museum

I could spend hours and hours here…So much to see…I never did get through it all…

Just like rummaging through your (extremely wealthy) eccentric great aunt’s attic…

I’d love to go back. Plus, it’s across the streets from one of my other favourite museums, the Natural History Museum with the animatronic T-Rex!

This museum sticks with me and I think about it often, even though it’s been about a year since I visited. It’s variety and depth of the exhibits kept me entertained. I especially liked the plasters of famous sculptures around the world mainly because I haven’t seen most of them yet.

Only to find a freaking Chihuly exhibit!

Amazing place. I was blessed to see a wonderful Dale Chihuly display that had the display stands my dad had made for Dale, years ago. A real treat. :-)

...and say that this place was actually pretty boring. I LOVE museums normally, but just couldn’t get into it. The William Morris exhibit bored me to tears.

Being an Arts & Crafts enthusiast – I love the V&A.

It houses so many varied and beautiful objects that I dare anyone to come anyway uninspired.

It also has a fantastic cafe – offering fresh hot and cold food.

I am hoping that I might get membership for my joint Xmas & birthday present.

...I thought was fun! It was my first trip to London and I’d just deplaned from the States. I was so jet-lagged that I remember only some of the costumes, panels, art, but I do distinctly recall a feeling of awe!

The V&A is such an amazing place! You can’t see all of it in one go and I don’t think it is possible to like just one part of it. And I am not even sure if I have seen all of it! Such a good place to go if you want to be inspired or just to learn.
