Zakopane

Well, maybe I shoudln’t say it is not worth visiting, because i didn’t saw much of the city, or not in the conditions i would have liked to, but I keep a nasty memory of this place : going there for winning in a mathematic contest, being locked up in a house with all kinds of people I disliked, doing maths, walking in the mountain under the rain …
But still I keep a good memory of the one time we went up the moutain frontier, between poland and … slovaquia or czech republic, don’t remember, and that we could stand right on the frontier line.

I could honestly spend a whole year here, and never get bored. I only wish to someday move back to Poland, so I can make that a reality.

You’ll never regret coming here! Great mountains, humorous people, marvellous views!

Try the local smoked cheese for sale at street stalls. Delicious nalesniki (crepes) here too.
