Capri

Was when I was 16 years old and it had an overwhelming effect on me. The colour, the heat, the whole place felt magical and shimmering with promise. When I got home I read the book The Story of San Michele, written by Axel Munthe, the guy who built the Villa San Michele. I don’t think I should go back because, in my memory at least, it is perfect.

I remember the Blue Grotto… absolutely breathtaking.. going into a large cave on the water by boat and then seeing the water lit up like a blue neon sign with the sunlight coming in from the opening.

if you have to choose between the grotto and walking around… definitely go exploring. its a fun little island.

Make sure to rent a scooter, it´s not that expensive and by far the best way to explore the island. Plus, it may make you feel like a local.

Anacapri side is much quieter though less activities to do. If you want to really relax and avoid tourists then looking for hotel in Anacapri.

Make sure if you plan to go here to shop, you have lots of money, to get a small lunch it was 13 Euros, and that was on a tour special deal, so take lots of money, but its soo worht it…we ate at a restraunt visited by Keanu Reeves and Mel Gibson! Capri is no stranger to famous celebrities, and its no wonder, its sooo beautiful!

Beautiful. I saw baby jellyfish on our boat ride around the island. I loved it!
