During the climb (not really a 2hour climb, more a 1h climb and a 1h uphill walk), there are some lakes, so you can refresh yourselves. Some people even swam there.
Finally on Preikestolen, the view is fantastic.
Only annoying thing: the helicopter… like a nasty insect.

Η σύζυγός μου φοβάται τον απότομο βράχο έτσι δεν θα μπορούσαμε να ταξιδεψουμε εδώ κατά τη διάρκεια της παραμονής μας σε Rogaland.

A geological anomali, should have fallen down a long time ago! The Lysefjord area was full of similare blocks of rock – all the others have fallen down.

Worth the “climbe” but rather tough if you are not used to mounten hickes. Not as long a hick as Kjaerag (further in the same fjord. Exciting sitting dangeling with your feet some 597 meters above the fjord (sea).
“One of Norway’s major tourist attractions.
Heigh above sea level 597 m. A magnificent sight from the ferry deck.”

Placed in Lysefjorden:
“One of Norway’s wildest and most beautiful fjords. A threshold fjord, only 13 m deep at the mouth of the fjord. Up to 457 m deep. 42 km long.”
