It's really changed

The first time I was in PV, it was ten years ago. We just visited again. It has really changed. There are many more condos, hotels, and high rises. Acres of jungle have been cleared for mega-stores, like WallMart and Costco. The prices are pretty much Americanized, too.

I’ve come to the conclusion that Puerto Vallarta is a great destination now for Americans who want to feel comfortable. It is not necessarily a place to go if you’d like to experience Mexico.

We had a nice time, but if we go back to the area, we won’t be staying in PV again.

A tip I have about this place

just went on Vallarta adventures sea safari. It’s their new tour this year. OMG….what a blast. heres there review…

If you are the kind of person who wants to get the most out of your Puerto Vallarta vacation, you´ll love this multi-activity eco-adventure!

Our Sea Safari is a unique and unforgettable experience that combines pure excitement and adventure with the opportunity to explore unspoiled tropical coves and places of extreme beauty at the edge of the jungle on the south shores of Banderas Bay.

Unlike other Puerto Vallarta snorkeling tour boats our comfortable all-weather inflatables can land on beaches without having to use tenders, so you’ll have more time to explore the natural wonders found on Puerto Vallarta’s southern coastline.

Vallarta Adventures Sea Safari is an action-packed ecotour that allows small groups of guests to spend their day visiting remote fishing villages, hiking to spectacular waterfalls, exploring tropical forests, sea kayaking along pristine beaches and snorkeling in the sparkling blue waters of the Mexican Pacific.

My company does not sell this ticket yet, but I’m trying too for all you guys. it was awesome!!!!

What a Trip!

My partner and I came to PV in Jan 2006. It was our 3rd visit…and we never left! (except to visit family back in denver).

Now we run a Tour, Excursion, and Activity booking company here in Puerto Vallarta.

Our work takes a lot of dedication, but we still manage to find plenty of fun time here in PV. From surfing and sunning, to nights out at the worlds best choices of restaurants and nightlife.

Oh, and the most beautiful people, inside and out

come visit us sometime!

How this place changed my life

I first visited PV about 9 years ago. I went with a group from our church and we spent a week helping to feed the children and familes that live in the dump just our side of PV. I have been back at least once a year since. My husband and I just return from there a couple of weeks ago.

Now we go and help support the folks down there that are not only feeding the children that live in and around the dump but we support them as they are teaching them English, Computers and Mathamatics so that they can get jobs in the resorts.

In 9 years I have seen such changes in some of the kids and even know of some that are working in the resorts and have a hope and a future. The impact to that region and country is still being told, but I know that one person can make a difference.

Why I want to go to this place

To visit my good friend Eric, who had the balls to quit his job, drop everything and move to Puerto Vallarta. I’ve got to take advantage of his hospitality before his gamble gets cashed in. Sorry to jinx you Eric! Hang in there… I hope to see you soon.
