Camden Town

I’ve been in Camden yesterday… useless to say, I felt at home. =D shame that the local market is full of pathetic tourist stuff though.

I live in Camden Town. :D

Have to go back there tomorrow or some other day, since we didn’t buy anything on our first visit. There were some pretty clothes (amongst other things) that really caught my eye at the market.

Omg this place it’s like THE PARADIZE of london.The stores are amazing hum i wish to get back in there ..Everything is pretty expensive it sucks xD

reminds me a little of the East Villae in NYC (partly coz someone had a CBGBs t-shirt on), only people take themselves a little less seriously than there.

Haggle with the sellers. Don’t look too interested, otherwise they will push something until you buy it. Always get the best possible price, and think about if you are actually going to save money buying it here or back home. There are some fantastic bargains, but a lot of crooks who are just looking to take your money. Wander down to the stables; the first time I came here I didn’t have time, but when I finally found them, it was amazing. So many places to eat plus teeny tiny shops along a little cobbled jungle. Have an adventure.

I’ve been to London twice and this is my favourite place. There’s alot of random stuff in one place and so much to see in a small area.

I love the vibe at Camden! It’s such a cool, eclectic and alternative place. The market is a great place for cheap deals such as travel souvenirs and cool unusual stuff. It’s a little like Amsterdam too where certain contrabands are freely traded and the regulars can look like anything from your ordinary Londoner to KISS-like! Would love to go back and stay longer, definitely an “off the beaten path” location.
