Bourbon Street

A great place but be warned Bourbon Street kind of smells =)

I Spent my 29th Birthday with Bourbon.St,It was one of the best times of My life…with out pics I wouldnt have a clue as to how my birthday exactly went cause my non drinking self was drunk~
I also was there a week before Mardi gras “09”.I kinda knew margi gras would be A Little To much for me, but the week before was just enough, I love the place,always & forever will!

I would not recommend it for families or the wussy general population, but for people who like to drink and party and see lots of crazy nasty stuff, and hear some loud live music, its alright. At least I got to see my first strippers club there, and got taken to a back room and offered a different deal (ripoff), that was a nice experience. It’s almost too easy to get too drunk too fast there, so I had to go back sober the next evening and take some pictures. If it didn’t smell so bad, I might say its Worth It.
The architecture should also not be missed.

My stepson came to New Orleans for Mardi Gras last year and wanted to party on Bourbon Street. The way to do this without getting snarled in traffic is to drop and pick up at the downriver end of Bourbon Street where it meets Esplanade.

yeah, it’s a little sleazy, with the 24/7 drunks and the various strip clubs and what not.. but it is an experience! you see so many interesting people, music blaring from all the different bars, especially at night with all the neon lights and activity going on. just make sure to go in a group, and if you are a girl, have a big guy with ya ;) me and my friends walked down the street taking photos, and ended up buying masks and wearing them down the street.. it was so fun :)

hustlers, frat boys, louts, uber-drunks. vomit, urine, booze, garish neon lighting, super loud p.a.’s and cover bands bleeding into a cacophony wretched enough to turn anyone’s stomach. when i was a lot younger i would pick fights with bikers and frat boys and duck away, leaving the cops to clean up the mess and con too-drunk tourists for cash, maybe sweet talk shot girls out of booze. now i just stay away because i know there’s someone younger out there who’d love to take advantage of me. and even if i can keep my head on tight enough to be keen to it, i’d rather be aware of what’s going on where i can hear myself think and breath through my nose.

I was in New Orleans for a seminar in either 1997 or 1996. We stopped by this place one evening, and all i could think of was “this place is not all it’s cracked up to be.”

i got some of the best head on bourbon street and i got very very very drunk hell of a night
