I went to Hollywood/LA last year. We had a blast – I wanted to move there! I’m still trying to convince my husband! ;)

I spent a week there, and want to live there!

Hollywood is not just a place, it is an idea, a goal, a drive. People mostly come to Hollywood because they want to be famous, or at least meet famous people. I will admit that even I had my dream to have my 15 minutes of fame and I got it, but fame is not guarenteed. Hollywood people really are just like you and me. I have known my share of famous people, but I’m not dropping names here. Hollywood can be whatever you want it to be. Working hard behind the scenes or in front of the camera, or a non-stop party that will burn you out in the long run. I got to live part of my dream by living in Hollywood and I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything. Sorry but I didn’t scan in any of my old Hollywood pics, but I’ll do it in the future.

In a quick two day summer visit, I took my sister and niece to see the Walk of Fame, Universal Studios, and Mann’s Chinese Theatre. We all had a great time!

because i was only there for the day, i stayed outside hollywood, would like to go back a see more of it, do some shopping maybe?:)

I took a road-trip to California from Oklahoma w/ three of my friends back in ‘07 and we stayed in Hollywood for about 3 weeks. I’ve always wanted to check out Hollywood and I’ll never forget when I actualy did. The room at the hotel we stayed at was the same room Janis Joplin o.d.’ed in. Once we got past the kreepy’ness of the situation lol, it was prety kewl. Saw 300 for like sixth time at the famous chineese theater, actualy got into a playboy/hotel party, partyed w/ an actual acctress at my hotel room and tought her my favorite drinking game “ring of fire”, partyed w/ the locals, pierced my eyebrow, and other numerous storys that would take way to long to put down. That town is a major trip. If your into that scean, I would most def. recomend checkin out Hollywood!!

Nice Shopping

It’s Hollywood! There’s so much to do…in L.A. in general. The Metro makes it very easy to see a whole lot. The weather is b-e-a-utiful and it’s just one of those places many should go if they have any kind of interest in the entertainment industry/world. I loved it…going again in the Fall!

I would absolutely love to go to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Odditorium to see all of the crazy stuff there, Rock ‘n’ Roll Ralphs to look for rockstars, Frederick’s of Hollywood to pick up some sexy lingerie, Mann’s Chinese Theater to see a show and Marilyn Monroe’s handprints, the Hollywood sign just because, Hard Rock Cafe because the one in Myrtle Beach rocked, The Viper Room to get drunk and dance like a slut, and Hollywood Forever Cemetery to see the tombstones and possibly watch a movie.

very sleazy place but fun.
