Traverse City

Marched in the Cherry Festival parade as a high school student, it was great fun. But band trips always were!!

in short… one of the rare gems america has to offer. no other city is nestled among bays of fresh water like TC… evident by the uniques cherry growth found no where else in michigan. what a breathtaking place, god i miss traverse city!

I have lived in Northern Michingan almost all my life. My wife and I moved to Traverse City about 7 years ago. Great City, Great People, Great place to take a vacation. I live here and I feel like I am on a Vacation every day.

It is so pretty here in the summer, the lake is so beautiful up here it is so blue.

I can’t wait to get home. I am in the USAF and am stationed in England. I have about 14 more years and I will be home. Things I look forward to; the great food from all of the restaurants, all of the fresh water, the woods in the morning, the woods in the afternoon, the woods at night, friendly people, slow pace of life, countless places to relax, the four seasons (especially fall), and I would like to be ignorant again about the things that are ugly in life, because everything in Traverse City is beautiful.

I currently live in Traverse City, it’s a nice little town.

I’ve camped here oh so many summers, during the Cherry festival, with my family. Now, I still visit just for the Cherry Festival. Although, last year the cherries weren’t ready, therefore, they were brought in, what a disappointment!

Anyway, There’s a lot to do, but it is a busy sort of town now. It has changed a lot since I was growing up.

I love Traverse City. I hope to live or own a place there someday. Nice people, comfy atomosphere, great food & nature.
