New Belgium Brewery

This place is run by the coolest hippies I’ve ever met. You have to try La Folie if it’s available to sample. It’s their award winning Belgian sour brown (it beat out every sour brown in the world, including every entry from Belgium!).

I think this is a great place for visitors and locals, we always take people from out of town there. besides the fact that everything is free (including sending as many postcards as you want) it has a fun atmosphere and staff, they are always extremly friendly there. the old town center is a great place to grab lunch and wander around.

Kicked off the New Years Eve festivities with a trip to the tasting room at New Belgium. I got tasters of Fat Tire, Trippel, 1554, and 2 Below, and they tasted good as usual.

This is a fun place to get a tour and free beer. We walked through without a guide and had a blast. You get free samples at the end of the tour. Cant beat free beer.

Mmmm… Fat Tire. I miss it so badly. The brewery is really neat—all wind-powered.

Our friends moved to Denver, so we couldn’t avoid the pull of Fort Collins’ breweries… This place is lovely, and the United States’ first wind powered brewery! Fat Tire and Sunshine Wheat are personal favorites. Great tour and great facility. Yum, yum.
