We LOVE going here. Like others have said, the water is a clear blue-green, and the beaches have white sand. Just beautiful to be there.

This has got to be my favorite beach city. Highly recommended to anyone who dreams of white sands and emerald waters. It is amazing. :)

I go here almost every spring break and LOVE IT. I highly recomend going to Fuddpuckers if you plan on visiting. The food is amazing and the people are so welcoming. Party city!

I went to Destin the summer that I was 14. Aside from the constant humidity and rain, it was unlike any other place I’ve ever been. The sand was white and at times reminded me of walking around in a giant ashtray. I met a guy named Tim who was also from Texas (albeit 400 miles away in Texas) and we hung out all week. We left when we got the news that my step-sisters’ grandfather had passed away. Saying goodbye to Tim was hard and I thought for sure I’d never forget him. Two months later I met a guy at my high school and that’s all that was ever written about a week-long summer fling.

They didn’t allow my dog to go on the beach where the Crab Trap was. But we snuck him in anyway. He had fun. LOL

My sister in law was getting married on the beach. It was a lovely weekend for myself and the kids. We can’t wait to go back!

Destin is gorgeous and has beautiful beaches everywhere. We stayed in a Southern Resorts house just a block from the beach and had a great time. The restaurants are fairly close as is the grocery store for stocking your kitchen. But the beach was by far the best part of my stay.

I was so fortunate to visit here on several occasions. We had family stationed at Eglin Air Force Base and I’ve never seen anything more beautiful than the white sandy beaches and the emerald water. The people there were SO friendly and it made me see of why so many people retire to Florida. I’ll go back many times in my life and I loved it the most out of anywhere that I’ve ever been.

. . . it’s turning into Disney North. Too much development, too fast.
