Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

The movies are so intriguing. i have dreams about going there and experiencing what they did. i’d probably freak out the whole time but whatever.

Just waiting for that owl.

I’ve read the 7 books in 2 months… you can’t put any of the books down. A good read!

I read in some magazine that they are building a Harry Potter adventure theme park in Orlando FL complete with Hogwarts, the forest, and Hogsmeade village! SWEET!

Cause you can never learn enough about good magic- and how to protect yourself from the bad magic!

I love the idea of going to school in a castle! Probably this longing, of which I was made aware by the Harry Potter books, is influencing which college I’ll choose to go to… it’s gonna have to at least have some castle-like aspects. : )

WELL…CHAP ON THE 3 BRICKS AND IT SHOULD OPEN INTO A PLACE CALLED DIAGON ALLEY. YOU WALK TO THE BAR AND GO THROUGH TO THE VERY BACK. THEN YOU GO THROUGH TO THE SHOPS. AFTER YOU HAVE GOT ALL YOUR STUFF, U GO TO KINGS CROSS STATION IN LONDON. THERE SHOULD BE A WALL BETWEEN PLATFORMS 9 AND 10. YOU RUN INTO THE WALL, BUT BE FAST! DONT SLOW DOWN COZ IF YOU DO, YOU’LL KNOCK YOURSELF OUT! THEN BOARD THE HOGWARTS EXPRESS AND AFTER A VERY LONG JOURNEY YOU WILL GET TO A BOAT WHERE YOU ROW OVER TO HOGWARTS CASTLE!

I went again last night and then sat here thinking this morning that really the realistation that I had been there changed my life.

Last night I read a bit of old Potter and dreamt about it, walked round took a couple of classes etc. The bit that gets me is taht this morning if I close my eyes I can go back quite clearly in my minds eye – just like when I think about Chamonix or Paris….

I would give up my right arm to go to this place.

Could anyone arrange that?

Students travel to King’s Cross station in London to board the Hogwarts Express from Platform 9¾. After a journey of some hours, the train arrives at the station in Hogsmeade. From there, first year students are accompanied by the Keeper of the Keys and Grounds to small boats, which magically sail across a lake to arrive in a grotto beneath the castle of Hogwarts. The older students travel up to the castle in carriages drawn by Thestrals.
