Eryri aka: Snowdonia

Breathtakingly beautiful. Also, I enjoyed being here and thinking of all the Led Zeppelin songs which were written while the band members stayed in this area.

climbed Snowdon and Tryfan in one weekend. It was rewarding. Tryfan was a fantastic climbing, lots rocks and bouldering. The best climb ever in Wales.

It’s well worth going to the top of the mountain, the view is magnificant!

Beautiful scencery.

Current plan is to leave early 5 or 6 am and drive up there by mid afternoon.

• buy 2 gas canisters
• pack up tent
• get sleeping bags out and air them
• pack clothes
• gather cooking stuff together
• don’t forget sleeping mats this time!

I love climbing mountains and yet i have not climbed the biggest mountain (Mt. Snowdon) in my own country! (and i live in Denmark, work that one out)

I’m hoping to spend a week or so here in July. I will be camping and I am really looking forward to it. I’ve been to other places in Wales but somehow never Snowdonia.
