Niagara Falls

I’ve visited both sides (as a tourist, not as a citizen of either country) and I preferred the view from the Canadian side. You can see all the falls from that side! If you actually want to experience the water and the mist, the US side is better but then you can always get the boat ride from the Canadian side!

PS: I proposed to my (now wife) while on the Maid of the Mist. It is an amazing experience. The roar of the water is deafening and you will get absolutely soaked, even with the plastic ponchos they hand out!

If you do nothing else go on the Maid of the Mist tour.

I was only 3 but I’ll be damned if I dont remember being afraid of my brother tossing me over the side (like the evil bastard threatened to haha)

Everyone I know who has been says that it’s very impressive. There seems to be a debate about whether it’s best to see them from the Canadian or the American side – I’d like to try both :)

Definitely view the falls from the Canadian side, they are much more magnificent from that perspective. The boat ride under the falls is a lot of fun too!

It is amazing. I was all into who had gone over the falls and lived, silly really. I didn’t take enought photos…

Well worth the time…

what can I say. there are loads of places I want to go, but this one is actually not too far. And I love a roadtrip.
I vow to do this one sometime over the next 3 months!

Go to the Canadian side to get the full experience.

The US side is far better, those that tell you otherwise are overzelous Canadians trying to lure you into their country so they can charge you the exit tax when you leave. Beware!

Oh its definitely worth seeing… especially in the summer time!
