Port Townsend

Lived here 2002-2004. I miss Port Townsend so much!

The new speedy passenger only ferry will be taking us on Friday to a solstice party at Port Townsend on Friday. Staying at an old boutique hotel. Looking forward to it!

Such a charming town! A true gem. Don’t miss Fort Worden while you’re there. Interesting relic in a beautiful location.

This is such a great little town in Washington to visit. Spend at least a weekend here.

I was still there a week ago today. At the Centrum Writer’s Conference. The town is very nice, walkable, and I always love being near the water. I stayed at the Palace Hotel. A former brothel. I definitely suggest a visit if you have a day or two!

One of my favorite places in my home state. And it doesn’t rain as much as the rest of western Washington, or so I have heard, because it is just east of the Olympic mountains.

Stopped by on my way to Sequim to go kayaking. So many great restaurants and coffee bars to choose from, ended up staying the night at a Bed & Breakfast. Listened to a local live band, next morning kayaked in Port Townsend. Memorable experience.

just amazing. mountains, fresh air, friendly people, passionate people, an awareness of nature, interesting history, for a small town – a good amount of diversity. i’ve thought of moving there. I love it so much.
