The smell of low tide. Pluff mud between my toes. Charleston is heaven.

i liked this town a lot. seemed like it would be ripe with tourists and rich folks to spange while i was there but 7 other travellers were in town and had blown up the city. the cops were on our asses the whole time we were there. but the pier with the swings and the fountain were rad. so was the abandoned library we squatted.

was for my company’s annual Technology Conference last November. Charleston is beautiful and historic. We had a reception in the great room of the Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon (http://www.oldexchange.com) – where George Washington had danced in 1791.

To see pictures of Charleston, SC is one thing, but to go to the downtown area is more than picture perfect.

During the school year of my junior year I visited Charleston, SC. We spent three days and two nights there and it was beautiful. We rode a ferry on the Ashley river, visited Fort Sumter, visited U.S.S. Yorktown, everything was amazing. I flew on a C-17 military plane to get there. That was also a first for me. I loved Charleston and I cannot wait to go back.

I’ve been to Charleston and the surrounding beaches several times since I was young. I find a lot of comfort here, and I think I would even if I weren’t so familar with it.

My husband and I went to Charleston for his brother’s wedding. The weather was great and the people were all really nice. The wedding was beautiful!

I live in St Paul, MN, so one thing I think would be cool is to drive from here to Charleston on US 52 in my 1957 Chevy. I’ve only driven 52 from St Paul to Rochester, MN, up to Minot, ND, and a little bit in Ohio along the river.
I want to see where it goes through West Virginia and Virginia and North Carolina as well.
