working and living on Newbury

this street is materialist heaven.

I had a friend who i basically lived with whose aparment was on Newbury. it was an overwelming place to live because everyone around you has so much money and so few convictions.

I worked at LaTete Salon which was an experiance in and of it self. Having your job be to cator to rich people who come in and spent $200+ on their hair once a month made me sick…

But the street is a good cultural experiance and full of interestind windows to stare into and snobby people to watch.

I live in Worcester, so I take the train all the time into Boston and walk to Newbury Street. It’s fun everywhere in Boston, but I’d deff. recomend a coffe shop or that HUGE borders near-by.

A review of this place: Awesome epic center for a lowkey downtown vibe of the college/art scene.

It’s a couple blocks of home and local business with good eats.

It can be pretty expensive, but is so much fun to walk around. Especially in the summer when everyone is out and there are a ton of things going on.

Ohh, newbury street, worth visiting if you’re rich or if you just like to take nice leisurely walks. There are some fun little cafes, they just cost a lot…like everything else in this area of Boston. You can check out planet-aid, the high quality thrift store, but it isn’t as cheap as goodwill, that’s for sure—but it’s for a good cause at least.
