Neumos used to be Moe’s.
It’s a great venue.

Filmed the Dresden Dolls show on Super 8 in November 2004.

The Dolls’ fanbase being mostly young, it was the early show. The staff were apparently mean to most of them, even though they treated me fairly, as I ran all over the place in my semi-official capacity, trying to get good shots.

I barely got to enjoy the show but I definitely dug the place. I’ve since missed several opportunities to catch great artists here, like the Smog show I was deadset on going to and somehow didn’t.
